On Sunday 26th August, while most of us will be nursing a hangover or enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend, our sporting member, Jordan, will be taking part in the Choose Sports Coalville Triathlon where he will be doing a 400m swim, 20k bike ride and then finish with a 5k run. Wow! We’re exhausted just thinking about it.
What is equally amazing is that Jordan will be raising money for charity! He has decided to do the multi-discipline event in aid of the British Heart Foundation (BHF). The BHF was our chosen charity for our May show in memory of Adrian Hackett whose life was taken by heart disease. The total raised so far is a whopping £1,125.80! Thanks to all the donations so far, can we get a few more? This triathlon will close our charity campaign, so if you can spare a few quid please feel free to donate.
