About the show

Based on the 1961 film starring Hayley Mills, ‘Whistle Down The Wind’ tells the story of teenagers fighting for their beliefs in 1950’s Louisiana after they discover who they believe is Jesus hiding in one of the town’s farmyard barns.

Led by Swallow, Brat and poor Baby the kids rebel against the adults and dream of a time ‘When Children Ruled The World’. Filled with hit songs made famous by Meatloaf, Bonnie Tyler, Tina Arena, The Everly Brothers and Boyzone, this is one of Lloyd Webber’s most famous musical.
